Thanks Zac! Your critique is always very much appreciated.
I can give you species details, but as per backstory - I just sat down and drew with the intention of making some kind of humanoid beastie, I guess. I'm designing a whole world of races and creatures for my brother's fantasy computer game that he's designing with a few other people. ' Bodrin Dancer' is also a design conept for him (besides its other important aspects.)
The species is predatorial, for starters. The wings grow only on the females, and at the astart of their cycle are only covered in a soft down. This specific Noribek has the long ribbon-like hair which means it's near their mating season. Once the noribek have paired off, the female sheds her wing hair and uses it to weave the nest. Because of this, the longer the wing hair, the more attractive the noribek is to the opposite gender. The males are the better hunters due to the fact that they don't have the hindrance of large furry wings. Each noribek has a different set of markings on its body - no two are alike. Although soetimes they turn out really quite similar.
They are intelligent, though not as intelligent as humans, per se. They have tools, but lack the brain power for more advanced technology. They live in treetops (as previously mentioned) and mostly get around through running and jumping using their overly-large legs.
I hope that's sufficient information for now. Time for me to go to work.
