This expression reminds me so much of my daily life since we got our puppy (now young dog), but thankfully she doesn't morph into something horrifying

That WOULD be horrifying hahah. In either case, there is not much sleep to be had! One of the two might just be a little more traumatizing than the other.
Ain has the TIME of his (eternal) LIFE with people that react strongly. While Crasalur made a pact with him in exchange for power, he's terrified of the man. Oh, good scenes are to be had between these guys. Pff.
