Oh, Karana, you know I love this picture! ^_^ I love the pastel effect. It's something completely new and different. I love the "earthy" tones of the back ground around him. It makes him stand out. For your first Inuyasha drawing, it is spectacular! On to your next Inuyasha drawing...

[Art] Inuyasha

I knew I'd have at least one happy fan in you. Wink As much as I feel like I messed this up, I did enjoy drawing it very much. The animators for Inuyasha have such a strange style; much different than that of DBZ's. I do plan on doing more Inuyasha, I'll just think twice from now on about using colored pencils. Annoyed

Well, whichever way you decide to go, you ought to be very proud. We wouldn't get anywhere with our art if we didn't take chances, would we? You took a chance on this pic, and it definately paid off. I'm not just saying that either. I really like the color sceme you used on this. It gives him a fresh new look. We are ALWAYS our own worst critics.
I agree that the VIZ animators do have a strange (but awesome) way of animating. I have almost given up on a few pictures that I did because I couldn't get Inuyasha's damn jaw line right! It is so squared and the angles are so sharp and it really is hard to get it down to where it looks halfway decent. But, obviously I didn't give up. I wasn't about to let no dang jaw line get the best of me! lol I am proud of you for trying something different. I honestly like the effect. Keep up the good work.
