I'd say he's sci fi, personally. I've yet to come up with a backstory for him, mind.
But those green puddles behind him? It's alien blood (hence the, er, green-ness).
There was red blood too, but unfortunately his hair covered it up once I put him over the background.
I can sit down and come up with a better description for him if you'd prefer?
I'd add in a little monster in the background, but I'm not so good with that, I'm afraid. :/

BogusRed Ah ok I see the green puddles. We'll leave this in Sci-fi then. It does look like a fantasy and sci-fi cross over.
This is a beautiful piece. One of our jr mods flagged this as possibly not being appropriate for Sci fi. I dont know enough about this character to know whether you intended it to be sci-fi or not but I'll leave it up to you to decide if this artwork should be moved to an alternate gallery.
