The only possible critique I could have it that the flow of this picture feels a little ridgid. It's a little difficult to explain- I'm not too good with scenery, but that's how it feels. Other than that, it's a pretty picture.

    Could be. IT's dominating, and I think the flow would work out more if it were zoomed out a bit ^^

      That's what I thought when I finished this painting. About the rocks dominating the image. The reference photograph was the same. Bright blue sky and a big brown and red rock. When I turned this in my instructor liked it - I was surprised.

        I'm not surprised, but some referance pictures aren't good to start off with. But in saying this, the mountain area is the subject and you can argue that it takes up enough room for that. Donno.
