They must not have been around any kids when they were playing, or they would have seen some really weird positions and know for a fact that the kids didn't mean a thing by it. 
Oh great now I've got an animation of one second he's there like this and the next there's log and the kids' eyes get huge because it's one second away from them all hitting the ground hard!

Sometimes I wish I did follow up artwork or comics just for the ideas that come afterwards... but nah, I'm lazy and have picture ADD.
