But cranky can be fun sometimes.... I'd like to see how he looks when they're fused, any chance you have that uploaded? And when someone's tired is when they hurt you faster and the most, didn't the little guy think of that? Though he won't be thinking anymore anyway....

Kyrinn fused Istara looks a lot like Shyl does, but with strange glass like eyes that are dark in color, and black markings on his body. Which is covered by dark armor for the most part with the long black hair like Shyl has. The wings and tail do not show unless he is fully in the astral plain. I have a picture someplace of what they look like, Shyl on one side, Istara in his smaller form, that if I can find it I shall upload.
Istara is a demon of course, but he is a special kind of demon. He is the guardian between the astral plain and the mortal plain, and long ago he swore himself to an Anchient (winged elf, essentially) in order to get his aid in a huge battle against chaos. he inherits the looks of his host, and his host will have black wings and white silver eyes when he and Istara are fused. Even in his full demon form he retains the look of the one he is bonded with. So since he is bonded to my character Amadrienshyl, he looks like him.
