Ooh, I like it! The background and terrain is absolutely spectacular. ^^ All of the colors and textures work well together... though it looks a little chilly for my tastes. xD And the horse is PWETTTY!
My only piece of crit is that their proportions seem a bit off. Hobbit-like, almost. I think it's mostly that their heads are too big, and perhaps that the horse would have to be very tall, indeed.

Maybe it would help by getting some barbie dolls and model horses to help with proportions to each other
