Yes it's much easier to see the drawing especially as a thumbnail if the contrast is amped up on pencil stuff. I think you did a great job on his face. In fact, he looks very hot
You are doing a great job on this drawing. Keep going. You may want to change the legs though. It looks like they are facing the opposite direction of his torso.
