This looks absolutely amazing and I don't see where you are having trouble with the faces. I think they look spot on. About the eraser thing, it is easier to just draw your lines and then don't erase until the very end. That keeps the paper from being ripped away from constant erasing. So, yes, we'll blame the eraser. Stupid eraser. There should be some feature on your scanner or editor that lets you erase those eraser lines. Anyway, this looks wonderful and I can't wait to see the finished product.
