wow, the technique is really cool---is it mixed media? It looks like a wood relief. 
Beautiful emotion, and coloring--Kurama was always a sucker for the raven haired-ones. And Kagome for the Canine variety...=P

Thanks! I am pretty fond of this one. The emotion came out for this drawing really early, and the hands were added later, so it punches.
The technique is actually just pencil with coloring on a program called Recolored. The program is meant for black and white photos, but it works well for the black and white graphite drawings, too! ^_^
