Well, I was staying with a family in a little town called Azuma-Machi. We travelled to Tokyoo nd surrounding areas, and I climbed Mount Tsukuba with my family there, too... But most of the amazingness was just being with the family... Especially my obaasan. There was one night I was walking to go to my bed in the other house (One house had the kitchen, living room, tatami room, mom's bedroom and my brothers' bedrooms, the other my twin and I and the great-grandparents and the grandma)... Anywho, I was walking outside to go to my bedroom, and she beckoned me over to sit with her in front of this shrine they had set up in the tatami room... She taught me how to honour her dead son - the father of the family, in her Japanese style... It was the most amazing experience I've ever had.
