Very nice. I like the colors.

I actually don't think it's a problem that you can't see kagome's or Sesshomaru's face. Actually not seeing their faces adds more to the storytelling aspect of this picture.

It puts more prevalence on the turtle itself, intentionally making the turtle take the spotlight and leading the viewers eyes to it.

I actually like using that trick in art ever since I learned about it in theater. It's refereed to as "stealing the spotlight." The audience will take a cue from where other actors are looking. So if a person stands farther in the background and forces the other actors to look back at them the audience will be compelled to look at them and only them. Its great to use in art because you can really lead a viewer with it. Of course you probably already know about that and I'm just rambling now. XD Sorry.

Thanks for commenting! When I came up with the idea for this pic, I really did want to focus on the tortoise, but I kinda wanted to do like, a shot of the other character's faces. Sort of like a faded background of their facial expressions, but I think I like it better this way. Actually, I didn't know about the "stealing the spotlight" thing. I have never taken any art or theater classes, so this was a nice bit of info for me! ^_^

    Thanks again!
