When you use a brush, make sure it's very wet, and always stroke down your page an down direction of the brush. This way, your lines shouldn't deviate much, and they'll be nice and thick and strong

Oh- sorry. You asked for crit, and that's what stood out to me so I thought I'd mention it. It's up to you if you're wanting a smooth line though.

This is useful, though! I'm still working on how to control the brush and it gives me some things to try.
