XD Yes, it's fantastic! I love pencil work, I just don't have the patience for it myself. So I have to sit and admire everyone else's amazing pencils. XD Like this!
Ah- patience I can do if I like the subject matter Most of my drawings have some degree of pencil in it- it's my favourite medium <3 I just love working with it and it's results so much <3
Pencil is probably my favorite to work with too, but it's become less convenient since I wandered into the realm of parenthood and all that. Much easier to do everything digitally, where little helping fingers won't smudge my work. Nothing compares to the beauty of pencil work, though. <3
Ah- that makes sense. There are programs now says that can mimic traditional media well. It's nothing quite like the release thing though. It always surprises me when I haven't seen my art in 6 months how cool it looks, and reinspires me to do another pencil pic. I've worked so hard to get colours right that I haven't used it in a while. I love pencil a lot
