Yay, food. ...Come to think of it, does she like her fish cooked or raw? I'm wondering if the heat from the kiln and/or her own heat gives it a bit of a quick-bake.
She likes both, but the kiln is hot enough that it's cooking that fish as she's eating it. When I helped in a wood-firing, I roasted some marshmallows at the air vents, and those suckers would get well-cooked in a second or two. In the picture, the kiln is probably sitting at 7 or 8 hundred degrees Fahrenheit, close to half the temperature or magma.
