Thank you! What I mean is that I don't think this is where I'll be with drawing Lotor. It doesn't feel right yet. Part of that is cause I'm nursing an ankle injury right now so I have a lot of aches and drama from that. The final version might not be too different from this version, but to me it'll be how I draw him. I'll see how it looks. Voltron has a very sharp art style, while I'm more like a wave, with curls to a point style. I need to translate that, and it can take a little while before I figure it out Smile Thank you thoguh!

[Art] Lotor practice

Ahh, I completely understand Smile this is kind of what spurred me to draw again, and start with something like Disgaea fan art lol. It is always a great exercise to try and draw in a style different than your own, adopting it to your own hand. Drawing Usalia and Red Magnus was so far beyond my comfort it was a huge stretch for me but ultimately helped me review my own style (with the added benefit of a muscle study I otherwise may not have done Wink ). Bummer about the injury, hope you are on the mend!

Sorta. My physio has asked me to cut back on my exercises to twice a week cause I'm having issues with walking. Like... I'm stronger, but I'm in a lot of pain. I think it's cause I was over stretching my calf muscles. I'm not good at judging when I'm doing too much with stretches. This week I'm taking it easy, and seeing if my leg strengthens up and stops hurting to walk. I may have to cut back to this permanently if it's what I need to function. Hopefully not. I want to be back to going to the gym again soon Smile

Oh no, I am so sorry to hear that Sad well, hopefully we can all be here for you on your road to better health and more beautiful, expressive art to come. I have been there myself to an extent, I had knee surgery oh gosh 4 years back now? Oddly enough, terrible bellydance exercise videos helped me gain most of my flexibility and strength back, but my left leg has never been the same. I did walk on the damage for two years after the initial injury, though. Highly I'll advised to say the least lol.
