“Can you imagine loving somebody that much?” Kagura mused, tugging at one leg of her lord’s hakama.
He turned, kneeling beside her, gaze drifting among the faces of those he almost left behind as he slipped his arms around her. “Can you?”
She pushed his face in line with hers, leaving her hand softly at his cheek. “Yeah.” Her lips brushed his, tears in her eyes. “I can.”
