Porfolio Review (F Title)

Here's the title page. Yay! I feel like the past two or three weeks my progress in figure drawing has been really good and all my drawings before hand are much crappier. I was frustrated when puting together my mini portfolio because I had improved so much in that last week that I didn't have enough drawings that were as good as my latest drawings so I had to put older drawings in there. Oh well, I got in anyway. Woo hoo! Time to celebrate. Let's brake out the Sake!

did you have a model for this one? I really like it. I like the movement which you can see in the folds of the clothes. I'm having trouble with that myself.

  Just about everything in the "Figure Drawing" category by me is from a live model. Usually we have nude models so all of those drawings have been moved to the red curtain. On this rare day, our model was clothed because we were studying drapery. Drawing from live models is always helpful. In the fall 2003 semester I think I was drawing from a live model 3 times a week! I wish I could have live models that often all the time but it's hard to fit into my schedule. You should sign up for a figure drawing class if you can.

  hehe, actually I've already taken one. It has been a few years though, and I'd like to take fig. drawing 2 but alas I can't go back to school for another year and by then I might be too strapped for cash with all the bills I will be undertaking in the next year. BUT I am definitly going to try and take another, it did help out my drawing a lot and it's great when your constantly drawing like that. Lately my drawing has been the LAST thing I've been doing. I've been doing ceramics and painting (which I should post some pics of my paintings) and making jewelry. (Sighs) this week I've been on my vacation and instead of writing fanfics like I planned I've been just trying to fix up my website and all the glitches that have developed.
  But yes, I would love to take another class. I do miss it.
  If i hadn't had to draw on such HUGE paper for my fig. drawing class I could post some of them on the red curtain too.
