Rune

The last time I drew any lineart was back in September. I thought this was very overdue.

This is Rune, my favorite out of all my OCs. While he was originally created to fill a minor role in a story I was writing, his character took sort of a life of its own. He's become sort of my mainstay in roleplaying and has been my primary character for over a decade. His physical design has remained the same for that entire time.

Rune is a species created by mages, meant to be guardians. He was the first of his kind, and is the most flawed. His brothers and sisters, created after him, have gone on to create great civilizations of their own, but Rune has never been a part of it, and instead prefers the life of a vagabond while he seeks his own purpose and meaning.

Throughout the years I've drawn him more than any other character, and for me, it's easiest to see the growth and development of my art style in pictures of him.
