My King

It's been a fight to colour this picture, but I spent most of today working on just the colours, and I hope it has turned out allright :)

This was made for Cullistair week on Tumblr, of Cullen Rutherford, and Alistair Therin from Dragon Age- the theme being "The King and Lionheart":- "All things associated with a world state in which Alistair is King, and Cullen the Commander of the Inquisition."

I thought it'd be nice for them to have a quiet kiss with a gift rose after a long day at Skyhold :)

I hope people like it TuT

That is beautiful. A nice tender moment, and really cool lighting and skyscape to go along with it. ^.^

  Thank you- I learnt a lot from the reference of the sky. I hope it's a sign that my colouring skills are getting better and that it wasn't one of those amazing pictures that you do that was a one off till your skill level goes up a heap XD

  Maybe one of those amazing pictures you take a break after for a bit, but I doubt it's the last peak in the mountain-chain.

  Hopefully its a goal to have as an artistic norm. I know right now it's the peak of what I can do, but I'll get better. I have colour questions floating in my head now which I didn't before. That's a really good sign that I'm improving generally

  That's what I'm hoping I have some colour books I can study from and learn new stuff now it isn't a big huge jump to learn stuff. I'm not sure where to begin, but I get anywhere is good XD
