See when we first moved here, 4 years ago, just a short ladder and I could string the lights all the way to the top of our redwood trees...
Now? I need a 12 foot ladder and an 11 foot poll and nearly break my neck every damn year because I refuse NOT to get them damn lights all the way to the top of the trees! It looks STUPID only half way up.
Trouble is... redwoods are huge and grow insanely fast and eventually I'll either need a CRANE or give up the fight and it pisses me off.
I'm going to do the lights this weekend... If I die you'll know I fell off the damn ladder.

No seriously- That's gotta suck. You need to prune it from the top down or something ^^;
