Woaw! You managed to render an angle I find extremely difficult to capture with a bow. Your colors as always is stunning.

I really like how the color is working in the grassy area. It really feels fantastical.

Your foreshortening is great! I love the little detail that we can see the sole of his boot... That's just awesome.

Thanks, on this one I think I actually like my original better. The project I did this for wanted a coloured piece so this is what they got. I might post the pencil version at some point though.

Oh, I would love to see that! Black and white/graphite is so very eye-catching in the right circumstances, and you are a master of the medium.

Too kind of you. Really I'm more of a jack of all trades master of none. Graphite masters make art like Lloyd does. I'm flattered that you hold my work in high regard though.

there are many many different styles of using graphite that are nothing like the way Lloyd does. I agree, of course, that Lloyd -is- a master, but if yours or my art differ in shading techniques (and I know mine differs greatly, nor do I strive to achieve the style that Lloyd has made for himself) that does not make us any worse at using the medium. (I admit, Lloyd is WAY better than I am, of course, though his modesty won't allow him to admit it. lol)

This is absolutely amazing! It almost feels like you are part of the drawing as you look at it. The grass and the sky look terrific. I love the work on the bow. It is extremely detailed. Fantastic!
