This is really cool, though a little hard to see. have you considered inking it? that might make it a little easier to transfer to the comp. Or you could edit it with a program like PhotoShop. I love the big cats of the wild so I was really excited to see this portrait. Smile

Thank you for your comment! It's greatly appreciated! 8D I thought about inking it..but I kinda like it as is, it looks a lot better in person too, and I also don't like touching my old artwork xD Thanks so much again! ^^

you could make a copy and ink THAT Smile that way you don't have to touch your old piece AND you get to see what it would look like inked ^.^

I think I can see what Vaporcat means- there's grey scale in it with the pencil which can't translate to ink. I think they like it all soft like this. Ink is a harsh medium. You're right though. Ink scans ALOT easier than grey.

(I agree with not touching old work too. I always regret it when I do T.T )

I'm primarily a pencil artist too so I understand the sentiment of greyscale. Inking is something you should try out though. I know scanning can kill the almost whites and almost blacks, but ink doesn't have that issue. IT's a bit tricky at first, but you get use to it Smile

Fair enough Smile It's nice to post some older work if it's done well cause it's good to have a healthy gallery Smile I should clean mine out actually... I've been on this site since almost day one. My gallery is pretty huge >.<
