Oooo, so pretty, as always! I love the red touches in this, makes her seem alive. And I can definitely tell and appreciate the detail you placed in this, it really adds something special to it. The one thing that's throwing me off a little is the angle of her jaw. I don't know if it's because of the hair flying in front of her face, or if it's the jaw itself. But it seems a bit sharp to me. Other than that, this is very beautiful...and I still can't fathom how to do folds in material like you do...It's beyond me...
Yes, the sharpness of her jaw is accentuated by the hair - her jawline is actually underneath that wisp, if you look REALLY closely. :S But in all honesty, I wanted her to look a little exotic to the point where she's almost inhuman, so I didn't bother to fix that flaw when I was doing it. Does it bug you too much? These are erasable, so I could make the attempt at a remedy.
My grasp of folds in material comes from dancing in the wind a lot while wearing loose flowing clothing... and watching children do the same. I do a lot of people-watching in all types of weather.
How neat! Well, it's definitely a worthwhile technique; you've got those folds down COMPLETELY. And, I do think widening that lower part of the jaw will really tie this together. Don't hurt yourself fixing it though, because I still think it's beautiful.
