Oh okay. I scan it into paint. I dont have photoshop but I have GIMP.

Gimp is a good start 
It should have a saturation tampering setting. Otherwise,if it has colourise- colourise to white or whatever should also work. It's a smaller version of programs like photoshop. I see you got rid of the writing though 
HEy- if editing is ever a problem, you can pass it to me to do- it's beter if you can do it yourself though ^^
