Awww, so cute. Was this done in colored pencil? I really love the blending, particually the orange to black there on the left shoulder.

    Yep, crappy Crayola colored pencils. ^^;

      I use colored pencils all the time, but mine don't blend as nicely as that.

        Three words: lots of practice.
        Plus temporarily killing my hand. X.x
        One thing I do is color in layers. It's a good way to get different colors that you don't have, and fills in more white space. I can sometimes get a "marker effect" by doing that and pressing hard enough (hence the hand-killing). Corky Smile

          Lol, I have more colored pencils than I can count Tongue You should've seen my friend's face when I showed him. I do mix colors, particulary is I want to get a tanned appearance on some of my characters.

          And I normally don't press hard on the colored pencil, 'cause it's a pain to keep it sharp Smile

            I get the boxes of 24. Sweat Drop

            Yea, keeping them sharp is an annoyance I face, especially since half the time when I sharpen them, they break. X_x This is why I call them crappy. But I tolerate. ^_^;

              I use Faber Castell (I think that's what they're called) pencils, and I have case of about 100 or so Sweat Drop They're much better than prisma color, and much much better than Crayola Smile

                I think pretty much everything's better than Crayola. XD;
