Brief biography: Keishi is an amateur half-orc paladin who serves the deity, Sel of Preservation. The deity has no fixed gender and changes appearances quite frequently, or so told in scriptures, hence why they aren't just called a god or goddess. Keishi was born to an orc woman and a human man who was a simple bartender in a tavern. His father was highly charismatic, so perhaps that's where he gets it from. He left his village at the young age of 9 due to the oppression of the tribes people there, treating his mother poorly unless she got rid of a weak link like him. he no longer wanted to taint his mother's honor, but vowed to return one day. He nearly lost his life within the first few days of surviving alone but was picked up by a group of scurvy pirates who manned The Blue Mirage. That same crew became famous years later, with Keishi as part of their crew. however, realizing how bad his notoriety had grown, he set out on a different path, one to fix his reputation so that when he returns to his tribe, he could be a man his mother could be proud of, just like his father. He parted with the crew of the Blue Mirage amicably, promising to see each other around if the chance presented itself. The captain gifted him a talisman with feathers, a symbol of a powerful merchant group they often dealt with. he hoped it would help Keishi on his journey, and it did. Keishi still wears it around his neck and often gets discounts and assistance from any branch of the merchant group he comes across. he travels from village to village, city to city, trying to help out those in need wherever he can, even if they're scared of him.
