 Wes was born into a wealthy noble family. His “dad” especially hated him as his mother, a human woman, had an affair with an elven serf who was in town for a few months. His mother and the elf fell in love and began seeing each other in secret. One night while her husband wasn't home she and the elf did yk., knowing that they could never truly be together they both decided to never speek of their relationship again.

 When Wes was born her husband immediately knew that she cheated and was enraged. However she convinced him to let him stay. Her husband begrudgingly agreed and she would name him Fínán. Growing up he would be especially close with her; he was very close with his Mother. When he was with his mother, he felt safe. His half siblings and father figure abused him, forcing him to do work, and hide away from company. They treated him like an outsider and a serf. One day after Wes made a simple mistake, his father, who was not in a good mood, started to “Punish” him. Wes defending himself, grabbed a conveniently placed knife and slash at his father. He didn’t kill his dad, but he was promptly kicked out and disowned, running away from the property seeing his mothers break out into tears. 

Wes had run away to the streets, living amongst the rats and other vermin. On the streets, Wes had learned how to steal to survive, becoming quite skilled in sneaking and pickpocketing. There, he started to go by Wesley with no attachments to his past. When he was 12 he attempted to steal from a snake-like fellow, however the man caught him. The man kept an eye on Wes, noticing his talent. He decided to take in Wes, giving him a home for a small price. He would have to serve the guild. Wes began working for his new boss, and father figure, doing questionable work. This is where he gained his morally grey mindset. He had earned the title as the fox, amongst his guild. Currently, he is sent to steal a special jewel from the castle.
