~Falling Snow~

As the snow falls,
in my window,
bleak December,
chills my breath.

Falling slowly,
through the silence,
laying whispers,
on the ground.

Nothing but darkness,
all around us.
No one to hear our,
pleas of pain.

The snow is deafening,
in it's quiet killing,
of the life,
that now is gone.

I stand alone here,
dyeing before you,
If there's no hope now,
let me rest.

Let the snow,
slowly rock me.
Let me sleep her,
I've done my best.

In the moonlight,
let me go.
Let me die here,
for I am already alone.

You said you loved me,
but that couldn't be true.
If it was,
I wouldn't be dead here,
laying with you.
