Sweet Darkness: Chapter 1

Sweet Darkness,

It envelopes me,

Coalescing within my soul,

It drags at me,

And sustains me,

Without it

And its false truths,

I fade,

Into nameless tides.

 

When the first sundrops shine,

I'll leave this place,

Dragged down by silver chains,

Beneath the melting snow.

 

To sleep out of sight,

Out of mind,

Till the moon wakens,

Till I dance with her silver beams,

I sleep,

I dream.
