Paper Demon Art and Writing Community

Hello PD peeps.

Not sure if you heard, but there's this new initiative that's been started called Drawing Day. Basically everyone stops what they are doing and draws on June 7th. Then everyone posts their drawings on sites like Flickr, DeviantArt, and of course, PaperDemon. I thought it was a really great idea so I've signed PaperDemon up to become an official supporter.

I hope all of you will join us on June 7th to help the online art community create 1,000,000 drawings world wide. PaperDemon will have a gallery set up dedicated to Drawing Day submissions. I'll release more detailed instructions closer to the event. I hope you'll draw with us and spread the word to your fellow artists, whether they be here or on other communities. On June 7th, we will all be united towards a common cause!

So what do you guys think? Do you have any creative ideas for how we can spread the word and become better participants in Drawing Day? I'd love to hear from everyone on this.

Members with Premium Accounts will be glad to know that now their skin takes over practially the whole page except for a small navigation bar at the top.

I'm still working out the kinks but they seem to be minimal. I've been thinking for a long time about changing the skins feature to take over the whole page. Many of the skins just really clash with the rest of the PD site design. So now I've just constricted the PD branding to a small bar at the top. To see an example, just view my profile. I got the idea from Blogger but I noticed a few other sites are doing it now too like Live Journal. Anyway, I hope you like this change.

Hello Demons and Demonettes,

PD has had some upgrades. We've been upgraded from PHP4 to 5 and MySQL 4 to 5. This migration may have caused a few things to stop working. I already noticed the chatbox isn't working anymore. Please let us know if you find anything strange going on. You can post links to the oddly behaving pages on this forum thread.

UPDATE

I've discovered that GD library has not yet been installed and/or configured. I'm waiting on tech support to fix this. Once it's up and running I'll take the site out of Read Only Mode.
