This was a piece I did back in school, in Spring Semester. It was one of the pieces I liked a lot in that class.
The assignment was on one point perspective, and we each had to draw a room. Many of my classmates drew normal rooms and the like. I decided to turn mine into a scene with my beloved "psycho", Celine.
The picture itself is really large, so I had to take a picture of it, and play with the contrast and such. Pencil reflects the flash, so I didn't use it, and the quality is kinda crappy.
Anyway, onto the picture itself. The proportions and such are kinda wacky, as far as placement goes. I did that on purpose for two reasons: we had one and a half class periods to finnish it, and I also thought it helped the surreal quality. But I got the perspective down. lawl
Anyway, the girl in the picture is my character Celine, who is diagnosed paranoid type schizophrenic for her hallucions and delusions of seeing the dead, demons, and angels. However, what she's seeing is real, as she is a link between two different planes of existance. There's a demons coming from the wall of her cell. Mmhm. It's most likely her "friend", Jim.
