Just Another Rescue

Ha. They've given me a sketchbook and I'm going to try to make the most of it. Don't mind me. Just doodling out a fic plot bunny. Who knows what I'll do with it?

I am suddenly wanting to portray an Older!Rin as someone with very, very dry sense of humor. And an Older! More Mature! The World Isn't All About Conquering! Sesshoumaru that might actually know how to smile and tease (well, know how to smile and tease that doesn't quickly progress to violence and bloodshed!) Speaing of Sess, he didn't come out too great in this...weird angle and I had to keep flipping the canvas. Oh well. It was for fun.

And it's purple. Very Purple.

When Sess uttered, "Pull yourself together, Jaken" after our fave toadying underling was bisected by Tokijin, how could anyone dispute he has a funny bone? It's well hidden... but if anyone could bring it out, it's Rin!

  Good gawd...I want to see him smile in the manga, just once! A smile that doesn't spell death! I would most likely faint from fangasm overload!
  
  I need to fix his face in this...long way to go! Just trying to get pics off this computer before I head home for the summer.

  Heh! Yeah...it's fun to imagine what she'd be like! I used to think kind of shy and sad...kind of secretly in love with Sess. But know...I'm thinking wry, semi-sacrastic, been there-done that! Lots of eye-rolling from countless spats with Jaken!
