Proportions seem of and the pose is very stiff looking on this for me. Reference, reference, reference is the rule of thumb for drawing especially when starting out. Find a good stock account or take your own photos and practice getting proper proportions and a more natural look when sketching. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the criticism, the problem for me is the only images I can find for a pose similar are all drawn not photographed meaning I would be drawing from another human interpreted image and that's too close to plagiarism for me. Though it will be helpful if you could help me fix the arms and hands which make the sketch look awkward.

There are many stock photo accounts on the net that have human references available, also please note that poses are never copyrighted. Do a search for human anatomy for artists and I am sure you will come up with some sites. Deviantart has many stock accounts with many different poses. You could also go to the library or bookstore and get books on anatomy for the artist. I highly recommend some of these as they will help you improve in your overall abilities.
