Frog: Gouache Painting
After seeing Taisia's gouache painting being submitted, I wanted to upload mine as well.
This was done for my illustration class where we had to take a photograph and render it in yellow, magenta, cyan, white and black gouache.
You don't know pain until you've worked with Gouache T_____T;;

That frog looks very cool This paint gouache you mean? That stuff is hard core T.T I only ever use it in illustration. IT's way too thick for me to paint in T.T5065 Thanks a lot. Yeah, the key is to build with thin washes with strong pigment. It's tough, but the results are amazing.

taisia This turned out quite beautifully! That water rendering on his arm is gorgeous; it looks so positively realistic! Was this your first time using gouache?
