One of the four flowers of China in my series - Chrysantenum

I was wondering what background I should put on it though? I'm definitely not too happy with the current background...

I think the current background is pretty, but I suppose you could try using something with a vertical flow to it to make the picture seem taller and her feel stronger. The circle in the background could be centered on her too.

Those are up to you though. I think it looks great like this too ^^

OH WOW... The colors are amazing!!!! As for a background... Perhaps add a bit more muted red, to give a stronger chinese feel... I do not know. Google traditional chinese art and see how they do it! But this is damn near perfect as it is.

This turned out beautifully! I absolutely love the colour palette you used.

As for a background.. Hmm... Well, you've started a spiral motion with the chrysanthemums already, and the circle idea works, but I think it's in the wrong placement and with not enough contrast. Maybe try moving it so the outer edges of the circle continue the line started by the chrysanthemums, and try adding some darker contrasting colours into the background (maybe a green like the leaves of the flowers, but a touch lighter in shade?).

Anyway, its beautiful as it is now. Those are just some ideas.
