Comforting Ichigo

*Warning Spoilers for Bleach* 

I drew this for Ichigo's b-day in July 15th. 

After the Ulquiorra fight, Ichigo is feeling incredibly torn for stabbing his friend and winning his battle in a dishonorable way. Rukia is fighting Yammy at the moment...but I imagine (even if it is just a brief illusion in his mind), that Ichigo would want Rukia to comfort him. This is the scenario I came up with. It is just the sketch now. I will start to color it. This might be one of my biggest undertakings so it might take me a while to actually finish it. If I have another WIP I will post it as well. I am planning to add some blood, cuts on Ichigo and a Hueco Mundo background, dust, sand, debris, etc... 

He looks defeated and distraught. Ichigo's sword is half buried in the sand (is not that is broken or it ends there hehe) almost as he was cleaning it off his friend's blood... Rukia tenderly approaches him at his level to try to reason and comfort him. Again, I hope I captured the deep emotions of this fictitious moment, even though without the background finished the full impact is a bit lost.
