Magical Girl: Lina Inverse

This was my first real attempt with markers and inking and..let me say, i'm in love with copics.

This piece was for a 100 anime theme challenge and the #1 was magical girl (sailor moon, magical knight rayearth, etc.) and I WAS going to Sasami as pretty Sammy from Tenchi Muyo! But...i opted for Lina and if anyone thinks that Lina Inverse is not worthy of the title "magical girl" you can just see me in my office. YOU'RE FIRED!  :P

Anyway, I know I messed up on a couple of colors...for instance her shirt; people think that's her's skin but it's not. Her original color pallet had a light beige for the accents on her clothes and I didn't have much to choose from so I used it without thinking. I fixed it later but now I am without a scanner. :(

I also accidently colored out of the lines near her mouth and it looks like she has punch face; but the pose is cool, I think the way the fire came out despite the fuzziness of the prismas (I only had about...2 copics **le'sigh) I also like my color selections. I hated the whole red hair/pink clothes...even though it demonstrates her flamboyency (sp?)
