"While dancing and singing one day amid the many blooms of Paradise, Nagendra found himself enchanted by a spirit down upon the mortal world. The god was stopped in his very dancing tracks, captivated by this beautiful woman tending to the trees along the bank of the Ganges. For days he would sit and watch her, longing and dreaming of the time he could meet this spirit.

The day finally came when Nagendra's aching heart could take no more. He sprung from Paradise and rained down to her as white petals. As a gentle breezed carried him, he took form before her, smiling. 'I am Nagendra, Spirit. Tell me your name please, so to still my beating heart.' The spirit woman smiled and took one of his decorated hands into her semi-transparent one, 'I am Chandra, spirit of a moon's flower.' She was beautiful, pale and delicate like the white flower that was her mortal world form. Nagendra loved her instantly, finding himself absorbed in her very existance. Even though she was a spirit of the mortal world, he wished to keep her with him always, he wished to marry her.

So she was whisked away to Paradise with him and there she spent her remaining time with Nagendra amid the flowers. In that time she bore him two sons, the first named Avhati. He was as beautiful as the flower spirit that bore him and Nagendra found himself bursting with pride and joy. It was not long until their second son was born. The child was beautiful and glowed like the moonlight, his mother blessing him with the name Chandresh. Not long after his birth, Chandra began to wilt. Nagendra was devastated, watching his beloved wither away into nothing but dry petals and a single seed. Taking the seed into his hands, he affixed it to his jeweled crown, keeping her with him always.

After the passing of their beloved mother, the brothers left Paradise to find the place in which her mortal flower had bloomed."

--------

This is Chandresh, the second born son of the Deva Negandra - [link] and grandson of the Devi Izantis - [link] and younger brother of Devadatta Avhati - [link] The title/name devadatta is Hindi for God-given. The name Chandresh is Hindi for Lord/Ruler of the Moon.

He looks a lot different from his father, but, has much more color to his skin and hair than his brother Ahvati. Chandresh took more after Nagendra in appearance (like the shape of his nose and eyes), but still retains a lot of things from his mother's looks. While Avhati is very willowy and graceful much like his mother was, Chandresh is a bit more stocky and not nearly as tall as his brother. He too is soft spoken, much more so than his brother, often thought to be mute because he hardly speaks. He allows Avhati to do much of the talking and stays behind him in most situations. The white specks you see surrounding him are his pollen! 8D When he's feeling particularly happy or the flowers are in bloom, he'll release sparkly pollen that looks kinda like glitter or little dust particles in the air. And as mentioned with Avhati, Chandresh is not albino, despite having red eyes. The red eyes comes from the clay soil in the area where his mother's flower grew.

I tried to go for a mix of my style with Ayame Kojima's style (love her so hard), and I'm pretty pleased with the end result. <3333333
