Another Jaquera~
Meet Remy-Alcee or just Remy! He's yet another subspecies of the Jaquera called the Koroquera who are more closely related to the Fauquera. Like their jungle dwelling cousins they sport the raptor-like dewclaw but instead of the paw-like foot, they have a single hoof. The elongated claw is used for cutting through the thick underbrush and vines of the swamps and wetlands, and also for communication. During hunts or if they are locating another member of the herd, the claw is used to click against stones or hollow logs to create a distinguishable sound. Think of it like type of a morse code~ Anyway, Remy is a young grullo coated male and the grandson of the herd matriarch. He's an easy-going guy, even a bit lazy but he does have a bit of an adventurous streak in him. He's always coming back with some kind of trinket from his little excursions and that usually includes a tall-tale about how he got it. The little ones do so love his stories~ <3
