I've had the first Leprechaun movie for a while now. It came in a cheap four pack with Pumpkinhead 2, Wishmaster, and Wishmaster 2. I hadn't watched any of them at the time. So when I felt up to watching something new last week, I picked Leprechaun. And... I... Loved.... It...

As silly as the concept is, I think they did a good job with it. I have to admit, I got kind of obsessed. And even more so when a few days ago, I was flipping through channles and happened across Leprechaun: Back 2 Tha Hood. Which I admit was really, REALLY bad. But the Leprechaun's personality seriously makes up for it. In fact, Back 2 That Hood was what jarred this loose. I had already been trying to draw him and failing miserably, then wound up doing the sketch for this completely from memory while I was in the car with my mom later that same day.

I'm seriously considering taking commissions just so I can buy all of these movies...
