Happy Birthday, Takeshi Kusao!

Now if you wanna know the voice actor that's the star of my latest art piece, that's the one and only Takeshi Kusao or essentially the voice actor behind Trunks from the Dragon Ball series and other characters from different stuff which I could mention, but gonna pass along with a fun fact (which is more on the lesser known side)

Anyways....

It's currently his birthday right now in the West, so I decided to work on this art piece which was done entirely by Clip Studio Paint, I used a reference to an album cover that featured many then popular voice actors drawn all cartoon like.

Takeshi along with (funnily enough) Nozomu were on the cover, which I thought was the coolest thing ever and that's rather biased cause I crushed on both of them, mostly it was Takeshi first when I was a teenager and then during early adulthood, Nozomu was and still is the second huge crush I have.

Well probably more on fifth huge crush as I cannot forget about Shigeru Nakahara, Megumi Ogata, Masashi Ebara, Shinichiro Ota, Hikaru Midorikawa and lastly Bin Shimada, actually I think Nozomu is definitely more on the ninth huge crush instead of fifth.

Yeaah... *laughs*

But returning back with things, I had used the cartoon drawing of Takeshi Kusao on an album cover featuring many then popular voice actors as a reference for the art piece and drew a couple of kiss marks on the face and neck, it's because I wanted to make a reference in how way back when I was very much in love with him, I would snuggle up with a printed photo of him, kiss it from time to time as well I was still only but a teenager and very much hormones were a big thing... *laughs a little awkwardly*

Happy birthday though, Kusao-san.

Thank you for not only lending your amazing voice to many characters whom are awesome, but even introducing me to the world of Japanese voice actors, it's because of his voice and him shortly after.

I am legit (probably obsessed) with voice actors from both the East and the West.
