Long-Arms McGee

Pindious (luckily) was born and raised in a small, fairly close-knit village, one where people are slow to raise a fuss over much of anything, following the line of thought that odd occurrences are better dealt with by leaving well enough alone. Which given their, for lack of better terms, unusual characteristics, was certainly ideal. Due to this, they were able to grow up without much fanfare regarding how they looked, and they formed close bonds with their family, friends, and neighbors, always able and willing to lend a hand when something needed fixing or just to pull something down from a high place (many a cat was rescued from trees).

However even the most idyllic of lives cannot be perfect, and the same can be said for Pindious's life as well, unfortunately. When a group of rowdy adventurers came to the small village, coasting high on a small victory and hearing rumors of a "great demonic being" they believed they could slay, it was like their world was flipped upside down. Never before had they seen themselves as anything other than normal, if somewhat taller than average, and they were suddenly accused of things they simply couldn't even fathom. Before they knew it the adventurers were threatening those they held dear and they were backed into a corner, and, in a last-ditch effort, they pretended to be what they were accused of, to try and scare them off. And it worked! But.. the other villagers were also terrified, and they were forced out of the village they had called home all their years. So now they seek to prove their intentions are noble and full of compassion for those they care about, both to others, and to themselves.

Design notes:

Unnaturally tall and flexible (have to fit through those tiny doors somehow).

They always have where their eyes would be obscured, either by their hair, the brim of their hat, or something else entirely.

Despite the lanky and fragile appearance of their limbs, they are fairly strong, able to carry an average person with ease.

Because of their legs being so spindly (and ending in hooves) it can be easy for them to lose their balance, so they may lean forward on their hands if they feel unsteady.
