Bio: Pícaro is a Shadow Creature; an ancient race of incorporeal spirits that live in dark spaces, and typically keep away from humans. Whenever a human does encroach on the Shadow Creatures’ territory, they will attempt to scare the intruders away with their ghost-like powers.

Shadow Creatures can live up to 30,000 years, meaning Pícaro is still very young.

Despite the reclusive nature of his kind, Pícaro is very friendly, and actually loves humans. He has recently run away from his tribe to start a new life in a human village.

Pícaro is a skilled swordsman, and has been wielding a blade since he was 80. Though he would never attack unprompted, only in retaliation or against a willing opponent.

Unable to speak, Pícaro communicates with body language.

Pícaro’s body is incorporeal, and his true form is an amorphous blob of darkness, but he usually takes a humanoid shape. Shadow Creatures are sensitive to bright lights, so he wears a hooded cloak to protect himself.
