    Personality: Oriole is friendly, intelligent, and passionate. She loves what she does and is eager to share what she knows with anybody who will listen! Unfortunately, Oriole's ability to read a room is not as finely tuned as her deep knowledge and understanding on Pokemon ecology. She often puts her foot in her mouth or trips over her own words as she info dumps on her latest ideas. Similarly, her mouth can't quite keep up with her brain - Oriole is a very fast thinker, and often her mind will flit from idea to idea so fast that she forgets to include the connecting concepts to whoever she's speaking to. That quick mind means that she is also quick to come up with every perceivable way that a situation could go wrong or be dangerous, and she is a notorious overthinker. She tries her best to compensate for that mentality with a sunny outlook, but doesn't seem to understand why people are still put off when she says "Well, there are approximately 45 different ways this could turn horribly wrong... but it probably won't!"

   Oriole has been fascinated by Pokemon from a young age, even though she was able to obtain a Pokemon of her own for quite a while. To make up for this, she absorbed every piece of information she could find. She read books, watched TV shows, and stayed after class at school to ask her teachers all of her questions about Pokemon. When she was old enough, she tried to become a trainer... but her mother gently nudged her into being a research assistant instead. In that time, Oriole had the opportunity to work with many different Pokemon, but had never had success at raising her own.

Currently, Oriole is working on obtaining her doctorate in Pokemon Ecology and has traveled to the Crater Region to work on her dissertation on the ecological relationships between Pokemon who have different types than their Ancestor versions. She's coupling her field research with extensive reading of scientific publications and paper writing all while learning how to be a trainer... so needless to say, sleep is at a premium for her.
