• Home
  • Galaxii grew up in the kingdom of Dexaidal, the son of the king and an elven traveller.
  • Dexaidal is a small kingdom that was founded on the banks of a river. Through trials and tribulations, the kingdom has survived- the local fauna being one of the most difficult challenges to overcome, as dragons run rampant as feral beasts to be feared.
  • The population mostly consists of humans and dwarves, though elves, half-elves, and halflings are not uncommon as well.

• Family
  • Galaxii knows much about his father, King Ashbough, and his legacy. He is a kind ruler, who is good with words in order to rally his people and troops into whatever challenge they may be facing. His father was Galaxii's inspiration to become a knight, and he encourages his son to follow his passions. King Ashbough is about 49 years old, with dark hair and sunny-day-blue eyes.
  • In contrast, Galaxii knows very little about his mother, only that she insisted that her family name, Xilven, be passed down onto him. Keyrie Xilven was a traveller from a far-off land, being a subrace of elf that is not from anywhere near their current home, and he knows bits and pieces of her culture, such as the importance of stars and constellations. He knows that him being born under the constellation of the Dragon has some signifigance. She is a quiet but wise woman, who is rather protective of her son. She can even be a bit smothering at times, but he knows that she cares deeply for him and doesn't resent her, even if she can be a bit overbearing at times. She is about 450 years old, about middle-aged for an elf, with light blue skin and white freckles like her son, silvery-white hair, and white eyes with black sclera.
  • In terms of extended family, Galaxii has no siblings. Keyrie is a distant foreigner who doesn't speak on the matter of if she has any other family, and King Ashbough's younger sister is married to a monarch in another kingdom. He has never met his aunt or cousins.

• Education
  • Growing up, Galaxii had the standard education of a noble. He is well-read, keeps a large stockpile of books in his room, and is a frequent visitor of the castle's library.
  • Galaxii's father also played chess with him from a young age as a way for the two of them to bond. Ashbough is well aware at this point that his son is even better at the game than he is- but he doesn't tell him this in an attempt to keep him humble, and because he's afraid that if he no longer sees it as a challenge he'll grow bored of it and the two of them won't spend as much time together anymore.
  • At the age of 15, Galaxii attended a meeting with his father and his head knights to discuss a dragon that they needed to deal with before it became a problem. Seeing the strategy map and hearing the knights and his father discuss plans, he became inspired, and asked his father if he could become a knight. His father supported the idea (much to his mother's dismay) and immediately put him under his best knight, Sir Irdid Wolfblight, as a squire.
  • Galaxii was officially knighted at the age of 18, and Wolfblight commended him for his hard work. He took up Wolfblight's title as the head knight of his father's army in order for his teacher to retire with his family.
  • Galaxii's use of magic is self-taught, using the books on arcane lore he found in his father's library to teach himself spells that he used in order to bolster his martial skills.

• Knighthood
  • After being knighted, Galaxii made quick work of the less problematic (but still dangerous) local fauna, leading a group of about 15 knights under him. He very quickly rose through the ranks, but always reminded everyone that he worked hard for his title. It was earned, not given to him because of his status as the king's son.
  • Despite this, there are knights in the army that are bitter at him and his father, calling for charges of nepitism. This is a point of insecurity for Galaxii, and he even goes so far as to prefer the title 'Sir' as opposed to 'Prince' or 'your highness'. He regards himself as a knight first, and a noble second.
  • Galaxii has taken down two dragons with the help of the group of knights under him.

• Was there a turning point in your character’s life that changed them?
  • Of course, the discussion he attended with his father and the knights inspired him to pursue being a knight, as previously mentioned.
  • At 13 years old, Galaxii asked his mother if she would rather have a son, or a daughter, as he'd felt lately that he preferred the title of 'Prince' over 'Princess'. Keyrie smiled and explained that in her culture, one's role in life could only be determined by their own heart- not anyone else. Keyrie spoke with her husband, and Galaxii was named Prince.

• Likes
  • Martial combat
    • Prefers swords, but can work with other weapons like axes
    • Usually carries a shield but doesn't bring it out unless he thinks the situation might pose a great hazard
  • Reading
    • Usually can be found reading up on arcane practices in his spare time
  • Sweets; he has a major sweet tooth, but doesn't like to admit it
• Dislikes
  • Stupid people
    • To clarify, he doesn't necessarily mind an uneducated person, so long as they don't barrel head-first into situations without considering ramifications. He has little to no patience for folks who have no sense of self-preservation.
      • The exception to this is when they seem to be self-sufficient enough that their stupidity doesn't get others hurt. If you're going to be dumb, at least have the strength to back yourself up if you get thrown into hot water. He doesn't care for damsels in distress at all, especially if they're the ones who got themselves into the mess in the first place.
  • Dragons
    • Less so a 'dislike' and more of a healthy fear. Dragons, where he's from, are terrifying feral creatures who can level a kingdom in a matter of minutes.
  • Doing nothing
    • Galaxii gets bored very easily and will very quickly go find something to do if there isn't anything to do. Something has to keep his mind and his hands occupied or he will get snippy. In conversations he typically is polishing his armor, sharpening his sword, or practicing magic or combat while talking at the same time.
      • (He's probably autistic, but in the setting they don't really have a word for that, so folks normally just say he's a very driven lad.)
