Prompt #1 - The Mushroom Cathedral

The entrance to the esteemed Faedin cathedral was grand, the doors decorated with gold trim and glowing fungal windows. Walking in was easy; as there were no events going on at the moment, the cathedral was completely empty. The knight stepped inside, taking a look around.
From this far away, he couldn't see the individual mushrooms. A purple sunset, dotted with stars, encircled the entire cathedral on its walls; beams of sunlight barely coming through, illuminating the whole room with a soft violet glow. As his boots walked across the floor, the sound of his footsteps echoed several times over.
Ahead of him, there was a podium, currently clean from any decoration. He had heard that it was common for folks to be married here. This cathedral wasn't necessarily for religious practice, or at least not anything specific. He felt like an outsider, being here. He hadn't ever considered himself a religious man, and he certainly hadn't gotten to the point in his life where he'd considered a life partner. Still, on his pilgrimage, it was a place he had noted to visit on his journey.
