Rine had a happy life until her half-demon stepbrother went berserk and killed her best friend. He fled through a Portal and she has been chasing him ever since. Or, at least, she would be if she hadn't lost his trail...
She's looking for answers, but most days the best she can hope for is a scrap of food and a dry place to curl up for the night. One day, she will have those answers, though.
She's not going home until she does.
