At first it took Quinn a while to warm up to the idea of sleeping outside. And even longer to do so without a cot or bedroll of some kind. And then longer to fall asleep in the company of others.
After travelling with different people, he began to warm up to this idea of companionship, even being able to fall asleep within a few feet from the one who he had become closest to. Somehow Bryndis didn't mind his sharp attitude. His loud brashness never seemd to bother them much, and recently it was directed at Bryndis less and less...

Quinn had a bedroom. Quite a large one, with a king sized bed, a reading nook, desks for working, and a small fireplace. After he "died" it was probably given to a sibling who showed promise in the eyes of his parents. Or it became a guest room.
Bryndis had a bedroom in new home, but hardly ever used it except to store things. They would often sleep in the rooms of friends, or of their little sibs, who sometimes had nightmares and found their presence comforting. If someone else was using Bryn's room now, they wouldn't really mind. It would be annoying if they got rid of Bryn's stuff without asking though.

It's a rare moment, especially for Quinn, but any expression of their friendship is appreciated nonetheless.
It's probably all my years making dragon art that shined in the tail and toes, oops haha
